Creating a conducive learning environment.

As professional teacher, I feel that it is my number one job to ensure that all pupils in my class feel safe and cared for. When I think of a conducive classroom, the foremost thing that comes to mind is the climate and ambiance of the room. Is the room inviting? Is the environment set up in such a way that everyone has access to everything in the room? In reality, without having a safe and caring environment, learning would be impossible.
In creating a classroom that is organized and that is characterized by mutual respect, it is very essential and will make it a lot easier to teach effectively, if we consider the following class room factors.

Seating arrangements: First, be sure the classroom is clean, orderly, and inviting. The seating arrangements should involve mixed ability, friendly good role models and movement for easy interaction. Your movement around the classroom helps make your teaching more engaging.
General layouts: Create as much space as possible. Clearly define areas for reading and other activity.
Storage of equipment: A well labeled and specific places fosters independence and trust and great help to supplies. Organize your classroom so that you have all the resources you need – all the books, calculators and materials – right where you can find them, within easy reach, so that you never have to stop teaching or turn your back on your pupils.
I believe creating a climate conducive for learning is the key component in any educational setting. It fosters learning to take place.
