Ah Mother's Day. The one day of the year where mums all over get to have breakfast in bed, relax all day and generally lord it up. Yeah right! What mums the world over do love though, is a nice craft or card to greet them on Mother's Day morning - preferably not at 6am if possible. We've got some lovely ideas for things you can do - super easily too - to make mum - (or mum figure) feel really special.
1) Ask your children to write down what makes their mum - or mum figure - This is the kind of thing that mums treasure forever for sure.
2) I still think that a written note or poem from a child is far better than something bought from a shop. Poems always warm mum's heart. An Acrostic Poem are total crowd pleasers for any mum!
3) If you prefer crafts, this one is something that children can genuinely make themselves - yes, totally true! It's always cool with mums, especially good for those mums with chronic hay fever!
4) I really like this Dear mummy rhymes stuff and think it could be done as a spoken performance piece perhaps? Why not!
5) For something a bit more challenging and giving a reason to write, get "Book About My Mum Template" is super cute. Again, expect some extremely humerous results!
6) 10) Another REALLY cute card that the whole class can make - "our Mother's Day Flower Flap Card" - make this with your class and everyone will think you are a crafting genius!
